unsecured objects. Those cleaning up debris near Hutchinson should
monitor these approaching storms.

...PROLONGED SOUTHERLY FLOW INTO COASTAL KUSKOKWIM DELTA THROUGH
SATURDAY...

Continued southerly, onshore flow into the Kuskokwim Delta coast
is expected. Winds increase tonight, peaking by Friday evening
with gusts to 45 mph. This continued push of wind is expected to
amplify the tidal cycle, potentially pushing water levels higher
than the normal highest tide line. Coastal erosion and flooding of
low lying areas is possible. Wind speeds are expected to weaken
and shift easterly by late this weekend. We will continue to
monitor the forecast as the storm develops. Coastal residents
should stay alert, and take appropriate action to prepare for
potential water rises.

Interior...

High pressure builds across the Interior this week as we
experience a dramatic shift in the pattern. Temperatures rapidly
increase in Interior valleys and by this weekend, widespread 80+
degree readings are expected and may continue into next week. For
reference, the average daily high for Fairbanks is 71 degrees.
