.DISCUSSION...
The West Coast will see continuing wet weather, with showers
continuing today, and more widespread rain expected tomorrow as a
front moves in ahead of a coastal low pressure system. South winds
of 15 to 20 mph will be possible over the coast with this system.
Even after the front moves through, showery conditions will be
possible through the weekend. The Western Interior, by contrast,
will see much warmer and drier weather, with highs in the lower
70s today and Friday and the upper 70s this weekend. Some areas
may near 80 on Sunday. Winds during this period will be generally
from the south at under 15 mph. While little rain is expected in
the Interior from the approaching coastal front on Friday, surface
moisture will still increase in the Western Interior, with min RH
values rising from the low 20s and upper teens in many areas into
the lower to mid 40s in most areas on Friday. On Saturday and
Sunday, some drying will return, with min RH values falling back
into the lower 30s and upper 20s.
