Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
328 PM EDT Sun Jun 8 2025

...Generally wet weather through mid week...

.DISCUSSION...

Southwest to southeast winds tonight and Monday will become breezy
in the afternoon hours but diminish overnight. A few rounds of showers
with embedded thunder will be seen tonight through early Tuesday.
Widespread coverage of rain tonight (most locations seeing a
quarter to half inch of rain), however coverage for wetting rains
becomes more spotty Monday. Scattered showers will likely drop up
to an inch or more of rainfall Monday afternoon and evening. Min
humidities remain around or above 40% through Wednesday. Winds
could become gusty and erratic near thunderstorms. Most likely
hazards with storms will be lighting and heavy rain, with a few
possibly producing small hail and gusty winds.
